What is Anushthan ?

Anushthanam is a Sanskrit word which is called Anushthan in Hindi. Divine worship, Havan, Yagya, religious rituals performed for any special purpose, the activities performed by traditional methods are called rituals.Anushthan are rituals for celebrating God, inviting him, praying to him, and having a special meeting with him.Anushthan can be performed to fulfill many purposes or to please God selflessly. Circle, fasting, festivals, Tantra, Mantra, Yantra, special meditation, resolution, chanting, worship, Marjan, Tarpan, Havan, Yagya, Shloka, Bhajan, etc. all the activities are called rituals.

Anushthan can be of many types and is performed in many ways. Each ritual has its special experienced, it is done by Acharya or presence of an Aharya, who is expert of Karmkandby his education.

Rituals are performed or get performed for a purpose, whether it is scripture-based or tantra based. There are different seekers of different disciplines, each seeker does special meditation for his favorite and performs special rituals to fulfill it. Sadhaks are experienced or experts in their practice or rituals.Rituals can be performed for any purpose, a person can do it for himself or get it done by scholars whether it is for self-interest or for public interest, or public welfare. Anushthan always brings auspiciousness.
